Lakland JO flats question

Sign in to disble this ad
My recently aquired USA decade has a set of these fitted...possibly since birth. Very nice strings for my current taste and somewhat similar to Sadowsky flats which are another of my favourites.

The odd thing is that the G string seems much more polished than the other strings, is that normal? I'm wondering if the G string has been replaced with something else...

They all have black silks at the headstock and no silks at the bridge so I was assuming they are JO flats - do labella also do a string with black silks at the headstock only?
