Lame if you think it is.
Not lame if you think it's cool.
Carrots if you're not sure.

I guess my vote is for carrots.

Beautiful bass and strings. I happen to love red, so that works aesthetically for me.

What kind of gig is it, that you think the bass might be too much?

Personally, not having a NYE gig this year, I think it's great that you have a gig, and it'd be hard to lame out anything about such good fortune.

Play great and have a wonderful time!

It's a gig in Small Town Nebraska (Gretna) USA, where men are men and sheep are scared.

Thanks for the kind wishes.

If I use them tomorrow night I'll bring a red sharpie for touch-ups. I play mostly with a pic so I've heard the coating will come off fast

I usually think colored strings are lame, but those look very nice with that bass.

Well, I played them for a few hours last night. Not bad. Crisp tone. I had to bump the bottom end on the pre to give it a little more punch.

I think they'll work. I'm going to go ahead with them tonight. According to the poll I can either play them or bring carrots.

I use alternating yellow and pink on a fender jazz V. I get more complaments on it. I have only ran into a few people whom didn't like that, they were not fun to play with, no sence of humor

If you play good it's not lame. If you suck then it's lame.
