Less Fret Buzz With Elixirs?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is there less fret noise with Elixirs?

I have a Stingray 4 ,and am getting a little too much string "chirp" from the Slinkies on it. The action is just about right, as is the relief. On the E string, I get some buzz when a note is held out. Not on the attack, but on the sustain.

I would like to keep rounds on it, but the buzz is annoying to me.

Will Elixirs help this?

I just took some Nano's off because fret buzz on the "E" string, however I did drop tune it to "C". Thats what came with [on] my new Ibanez. Other than that they sounded pretty good (real good actually) - piano like, but not the brightest. I'm not sure what to do with them - they're only a month old.
