I just picked up a Lakland 5502 and these strings came on it and i love them. The silks are gold. Anybody have any idea?

If it's a new bass, then it ships with Lakland stainless steel strings. Scuttlebutt is they are made by GHS, but I can neither confirm or deny that.

I picked it up used from GC and the they shipped it to me, they put them on so im guessing it would be something that they would carry.

Are they tapered? Could be Dean MArkley SR2000's?

They could be Sadowsky Black Label SS.
