Life-cycle of Rotosound 55

In Agusut 2012 my band went to studio to record the first EP - and of cause, the bassist (me) put on a new set of strings. I mainly play Rotosound 55 preassurewounds which do sound best after they are "played in" for about 10 hours.
Now, 7 month, a couple of gigs and a lot of rehearsing (once to twice a week) later, I refreshed my strings and I can hear a very clear and huge difference.
Rotosound 55s do sound like common 66s in the begin before they lose a little bit af that brilliance and get more punch.

How long do you run your RS 55s??

before I refreshed the strings I recorded the bass sound with the old strings. Although I like the newer string-sound more, the "old" 55s also have their charme (a bit like flats but way more present in the mix)

I tried them for the first time in October of 2012 (don't remember the exact date). I just removed them today.
