Playing 10 minutes a day (at least) and gigging on the weekends, how long do you think a set of strings would last? (Slap,Fingerstlye)

Well, I no longer use prosteels but, when I was I could get a good 3 to 5 months out of them and was rehearsing 2 times a week with a band for several hours + the occasionnal show here and there.

yea, I thought that was a bit short though. I got about 4 months and now they are sounding dead

Unless you like the dead roundwound sound, I never encountered a brand of rounds that lasted much longer than that.

Elixir nanowebs are the only ones I've had that much life out of if I'm playing the bass often. Starts a little less bright but holds at that point for a very long time.
