Light and Bright

First post.

So after years of playing on Swing Bass 66's I'm looking for the best value on light and bright strings; strings that stay bright for a good amount of time and are light to press. Possibly around stainless steel .40's. What are your recommendations/suggestions/preferences on light and bright strings.

My first thought is Fodera - in my limited experience they fit this bill to a tee.

Fodera strings are nice, but seem to get back ordered pretty often.

However, I love Sadowsky stainless strings. Get them right from the sadowsky site. They are very reasonable for SS. Great customer service too.

.....and there's always DR HiBeams. I like them, and ESPECIALLY their customer service, which is stellar.

Roto's Funk Masters set is my personal favorite. 30-90 SS, run about $20 on MF.

Elites stainless steel, I use the 035-095 set. Great strings and great value, and long life.
