Long Scale Jamerson

Sign in to disble this ad
I am interested in putting a set of LaBella Jamerson flats on long scale 5 sting fretless. I notice that Jamersons are not made in long scale. Does anyone have any experience with this? Will I run into any problems if I put the strings on a lakland fretless?

Thanks!

To be clear, you're looking for extra-long scale strings. Standard long-scale is 34" (Fender, Music Man, et. al.). Lakland 5-string basses use a 35" scale. LaBella's catalog says "Unless noted, all sets are for the standard 34" long scale instruments. Custom sets for short, medium, and extra-long scale strings are available on request."
