Looking for a 6 string set of rounds

Could someone recommend me a set of roundwound strings for my 6er? I'm looking at DR Lo Riders, are they worth the $41?

I play alternative rock with my band, but I play heavier genres solo.

What is your bass? because the length of strings does matter.

I really like the Dean Markley SR2000's. Taper-wound over the bridge.

Not unless the bass is extra long or short

Its actually possible to not like Elixirs, (I know its a shocker ) and its also possible they could be dead (MY GOD!).

I would say the $41 is worth it, unless you could find them cheaper. I'm not sure of the price of Rotos 66 in the US, if they are cheaper I personally like em. They may lose some life quickly but they sound good for a long while after IMO.
