Is there a company that sells non-metal strings? I just thought I'd ask. The closest thing I can think of are the rubber strings on the Guild Ashbory guitars. Aren't Elixirs non-metallic?

Elixir strings are nickel plated steel covered with a polyweb coating that resists corrosion and gives longer string life. Sheesh! With that statement you would think I was an Elixir string representative!!
