Looking for strings for mccartney/rourke tone

Do you have guys have any suggestions for some strings to buy? I'm looking for something with a Mccartney (rickenbacker 66-67 ish) tone, but at the same time twangy like Rourke? I currently have a nice set of D'addario Chorme Flatwounds but I also like to slap a lot and my flatwounds don't really slap well. Haha, sorry if its kind of complicated.

LaBella, Pyramid, or GHS Flatwounds for the Macca sound. It's going to be tough to get the best of both worlds. Macca's tone can only be had with flats. Halfrounds won't give it to you.
