Loudest unamplified string type?
It might sound silly but I am curious if a certain type of string tends to play louder unplugged/unamplified than other types?
My first thought was that hex-core stainless strings would be the loudest in this manner, but I have no experience with them.
My other thought was tighter strings might be louder unplugged, just a hunch.
Instruments by Yamaha and Fernandes, Amplification by Peavey, Strings by Dunlop (plus good 'ol Boomers)
