love Dunlop Nickel 50-110 set

These are killer! Sound really great on my p style bass.

The LaBella Jamerson though super beefy thumpy, my hands get worn out playing like a Billie Jean bass line.

These Dunlop 50-110 have a lot of thump but less tension so my hand is better as I'm just a part time bassist, full time drummer!

I do miss the flatwound tone knob off thump but flats seem to not work on this satin maple/maple neck. Flats seem more suited for rosewood fret boards, maybe?

Any one have a LaBells flat 45-105 standard set for sale or trade? I have a Jamerson set almost 2 months old cut generously for inLine 4 P style

Put your Jameson's in the classifieds under accessories and they should sell.

You can go to bassstringonline.com and register as a VIP (available to all tb members) and buy the Dunlops or the LaBellas!

Welcome to Bass Strings Online - Your Custom Bass String Shop...

Thanks guys I'm not a paying member and the budget this month won't allow me to purchase a membership.

Until then . . .

thanks again,

I'm really interested in a squier P J with a rosewood fre board at a pawn shop here in NOLA to be my LaBella 45-105 funk machine, but my budget is super tight.

I understand that man. Times are tough!

I see you're from NOLA. I'm in Ruston La!

I use the heavy nickels too on my 5 string Ansir. I just buy an extra low 130 B.
