i use a ibanez gsr200 and running 50-70-85-105 gauge on my bass, but i wanna switch to 55-75-90-110. will i need to get a nut and bridge adjustment to do so?

I used to use 100 gauge but moved to 110 gauge a while ago for a heavier tone. Depending on what sound you want, you may have to adjust string height. Personally i dont like to hear fret buzz, hence string height adjustment. As with any new strings, intonation checks will have to be done anyway. Iv never had any problems with the nut though. Also you may need to adjust the truss rod a little, differing string tentions. Hope this helps some.
