so i have an ibanez sr400.... with 2 darkstars installed.
the sound is a bit too midrangey. too boomy and not bright, but just... it's hard to describe (year old d'addario strings on there).
i'm looking for a more... classic rock tone. smoother and more mellow.
what strings would you advise? flats, half rounds? any suggestions are appreciated. |
