MIXING DIFFERENT LA BELLAS

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

Am I likely to run into any kind of problems if I mix the E & A strings from a set of the 760 FM (.049; .069; .089; .109) with the D & G from the 0760M 1954 Jamerson set (.052; .073; .095; .110)?

No problems.

You are just essentially making your own custom set.

No Problem. I just double checked the shelf. Those sets actually look like they have the same color Blue silk so your strings will match "Silk color wise." (the other gauges have different color silk)

Let us know how it works out though!

You know, they do!

I'd be delighted.

If I revert to the FS set, do you ship to the UK, please?

I broke the 4th string on two new sets of those yesterday as I was re-stringing and I was no where near bringing it up to pitch!

We have a three month wait at least over here for any more.

Yes I do ship to the UK. LaBella does sell single strings (but they may take a bit to get (as you seem to know already) but I can always pull one out of a set to get you taken care of quickly).

Yes, I understand the wait on LaBella... Its common all direct dealers need to put up with it!

Shooting you a PM.
