mixing strings?

I have a set of Ti Jazz flats currently on my bass. I was thinking of putting on the old E from my former Chromes set. The gages on the Ti are weird the E is 100 the A is 75 the D is 56 and the G is 45. The E from the chromes pack is 95 so i thought it might go a little better with the lightweight a and d. I like the g a little heavier in relation to the others. The chromes g is 40.. now thats light!

I figure by putting on the 95 E i can get more bass out of my eq on my other strings w/o going BOOM on the E. Of course, there is saddle adjustment and pup adjustment, but this is something a little different.

Am I crazy?
