Modulus Brand Strings - Who makes 'em?

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know who actually makes Modulus brand strings? I absolutely love them on my Q6, but I figure I could pay less for the same strings if I just bought them right from the actual manufacturer. I have one friend who has suggested that they are probably made by DR. Does anyone know for sure?

Not sure of Modulus "Brand". The Modulus basses used to ship with D'Addario Nickels and way back they used to have a special set of GHS steels. IME experience with a Q5, the D'Addario XL170s SUPER LONGs were killer. Much better than DR Nickel Low Riders or Ken Smith Bass Burners.
