Moving to a 5-string, want the same sound...but...

My go-to bass has been a Fender Jazz, strung with steel Rotosound RS-66LC (95, 75, 60, 40). I love the sound and feel of the lighter strings, but now...

I'm moving to a Schecter Studio 5. I'm a lefty, so my options were more limited. I'd like to keep the feel and somewhat more cutting tone that I had from the lighter Rotos and would purchase the corresponding 5 string set, but the Studio 5 is a 35" scale.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

-Mark

So you're worried that the 35" scale will change the feel of the strings?

sorry I'm not sure what you're asking exactly.

Sorry, should have been more clear. Wondering which Rotos will fit the 35" scale..I know they have the EL sets, but didn't see any EL 5-string in the SwingBass 66 line. Will the standard Roto 5-string sets fit a 35"?
