Does anyone know what kind of core MTD strings have? On the package it just says "roundwound".

Looks like round core.
I consider it a treat when I can find MTD's. I have one Jazz that still has a set on and they feel perfect on it.
I have another (newish) set stashed by my workbench. For some reason the D string kept breaking up near the tuner, so I took the set off, and I can see it appears to be a round core.

I've decided, upon closer inspection, that they're square.
