I found out about MTD strings once I had to replace the ones on my Brase I 5str Ken Lawrence. The other strings sounded less zingy. So I called ken Lawrence himself and he told me that the original strings were MTDs!!! So I got in touch with Mr Michael Tobias and while I ordered some MTD strings, one thing led to another and I ordered an MTD bass!!! MTD strings are my favorite ones for "conventional" basses. In fact yesterday I was playing my SR5 and a fellow bass player asked me about the strings cause he never had heard a SR5 with such a bold sound before. So I told him that the strings were MTDs.

Thank you Mr Tobias
