I'm looking to switch out my strings on my lakland 5ver and I've wanted to try to try a light gauge for a while now. A friend recommended mtd ultralight bass strings. I was able to find a
light 4 string set and a
.125 B string by mtd for sale on bassexchange.com. I have a few questions.
Anyone have any experience with mtd light strings? Do you like them/what's their tone like?
Will the light 4 string set fit my 35 in. scale bass?
Will the difference between this light set and the mediums be primarily in the tone, the feel, or a mixture of both?
