Hi Guys,
Interesting thing happened last night... Someone in the band that hired me to play on a cruise ship handed me a 5 string 45-130 set of Musician's Friend Brand Nickel Bass strings
. He said they kick ass, but I'm sceptical. Does anyone know who makes these strings? They almost look like DRs but it's very hard to tell. Are they any good?
If anyone could help me that would be awesome. As I'm in the Caribbean, the humidity and sweating is going to kill my current D'Addarios by the end of the weekend, so I am trying to decide on these MF strings or have a set of DR's shipped over here.
