I had never heard of this site until I saw this thread. Just checked it out and registered. Looks like I have new string vendor.

As soon as I get my VIP status, I'll be stocking up on Fat Beams.

Seriously dude! My order was supposed to arrive today but it actually arrived yesterday! I was really happy at how fast the order got here and how it was packed!

Yeah, I don't usually comment in these type of threads, but here's my story: I saw some comments on here about Jason's website. Thought I'd check it out.
So he had what I wanted at a good price. Cool.

I ordered some sets. I didn't know anything about the Talkbass VIP thing at the time.
So he emails me back saying that he saw I was from talkbass and he gave me automatic VIP status and a credit towards my next purchase. It's one thing to just have decent prices, but to have that PLUS good communication and customer service is extremely rare. I must say I was impressed, and will be ordering again soon.

Oh by the way... I noticed this happening on a couple of orders... If you have items IN your cart BEFORE you become a VIP or that were added to your cart "Last Month" before the current promo, the items MIGHT not be updated to the VIP price / promo's applied to your order.

The ones I have caught are being and have been credited the appropriate amounts.

Aw, drag...I was looking forward to ordering a new set of Rotosounds from your site, but I need to be able to have them shipped to my work address. I live in an ancient apartment building with very small mailboxes, and any package that doesn't fit in the box has to be picked up at the PO.

Any plans to change this?

There are some pre-packaged sets that are very light gauge...

Like Rotosound RS66LA - Extra Light: .030 .050 .065 .085
and RS66LB - Medium Light: .035 .055 .070 .090

Is something like that what you are looking for?
