| | needs more fuzz. | | Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia | | I've got a custom Boomer set coming in the mail to try out for Drop Bb. I was going to go with Circle K (which I normally do for lower tunings), but I realized I could get similar gauges from Boomers. I can't get enough of GHS right now, so I figure I'd give 'em a whirl. The prices are comparable and actually a bit cheaper. Besides that - I'd rather give my business to a TB member anyway. New customer.
Listen to this guys; I sent my order about 1 1/2 hours ago, and just got a shipping notification/tracking number already!
1 1/2 Hours!
Thanks Jason, but I wasn't in that big of a hurry.

I thought I'd share that, so everyone knows why he's out of pocket unexpectedly. Thoughts and prayers with you, man. Quote:

(used to pay over $60/set with Fodera) I'm currently trying to have my signature strings offered with two options of low strings (.120T or .125T) for those times when I, or others, need/want a beefier bottom.

The only set that we make that costs anywhere near that is the Anthony Jackson set and even that set is $65 at full retail...
Regards,

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Waterford, MI | | | It was a custom gauge set that was put together for me by Laura using individual strings. When one of the gauges I used was discontinued I could no longer order "my set", so I had to search for a string supplier that could accommodate what I needed. Thanx to a PM from slapinfunk due to a forum post here everything is good again!

Ha, but seriously. Just got another order yesterday and couldn't be happier, and excited to throw some Cocos (?) on my Stingray, I had never heard of them but as a DR guy I'll try another hand made string.
