I have a buddy who works at a guitar shop who gets me great discounts on strings (if they carry them), but they don't carry as wide a variety as bassstringsonline does. They'll definitely be my next go-to if I can't get them for ultra cheap from by buddy. |

Placed the order at the end of the day Wednesday, and got the string today! Wasn't expecting it until next week sometime, but now I'll get to switch it over and set it up while we get buried in snow (though, thankfully, not as badly as the New England states)

Big shout out to Jason for the great service. Even when my browser and machine were acting funky, and I ended up placing an order that I screwed up, an email to him, and he helped me fix it. Great service as always.

I have been made aware of a couple of issues that are being addressed. Working on making some other improvements in the coming weeks. |

Absolutely, beyond a doubt some of the best service I have ever received.
Will be placing an order for at least 3 sets of DR Nickel Lo-Riders next week. Anything else I can purchase from him here on out I most definitely will.
Before you order any strings from any of the online mega stores I highly recommend you try bassstringsonline.com.

Has been nothing short of excellent for well over a year now. I do not buy strings anywhere else and I could not be happier.

They got here today. Now they will be ready for my new bass when it arrives. Looking forward to seeing how the .50-.105 Chromes feel and play. Wanted something a little beefier for a jazz bass.

I live in the sticks, there's not a store within 70 miles with any selection of bass strings, this is awesome!
I'll be a regular customer from here on out.
The string length article was super helpful with my long scale Dingwall bass string options.
Thanks guys!

There is NOBODY that does it better. There is NOBODY that will try harder than Jason.
If he can keep me calm and happy, I guarantee you he will keep you happy.
Thanks Jason. |

Best to purchase a set using a combination of long scale for the G D and A string and use the short scale E.

I mean, they have short scale tapewounds and short scale everything else... why not chromes... at least the E string, really don't need the others short... |

Jason told me he wouldn't be getting more till Monday at the earliest, but to my surprise I just checked my mail and the order has shipped today. Thanks, Jason!
