I han an Allen Woody. Damn fine bass. I put Labella flats on it. If you like thumpy, tapewounds are a great choice.

I ordered for the first time with them last week. Great experience and fast turnaround.

I have a buddy who works at a guitar shop who gets me great discounts on strings (if they carry them), but they don't carry as wide a variety as bassstringsonline does. They'll definitely be my next go-to if I can't get them for ultra cheap from by buddy.

And another big plus from me now. I ordered a high C string so I could switch one of my 5's to E-C tuning. Placed the order at the end of the day Wednesday, and got the string today! Wasn't expecting it until next week sometime, but now I'll get to switch it over and set it up while we get buried in snow (though, thankfully, not as badly as the New England states)

I'm sorry Jason - my prayers are with you, and your family.

Jason, Sorry for you loss.

Big shout out to Jason for the great service. Even when my browser and machine were acting funky, and I ended up placing an order that I screwed up, an email to him, and he helped me fix it. Great service as always.

Thanks reds.

I have been made aware of a couple of issues that are being addressed. Working on making some other improvements in the coming weeks.

Bought and Aguilar Octamizer from Jason and it was backordered. Was hoping that I would have it for a gig tonight (but I could have lived without it) and he went above and beyond to get it to me.

Absolutely, beyond a doubt some of the best service I have ever received.

Will be placing an order for at least 3 sets of DR Nickel Lo-Riders next week. Anything else I can purchase from him here on out I most definitely will.

Before you order any strings from any of the online mega stores I highly recommend you try bassstringsonline.com.

My experience with bassstringsonline.com part 2!

Has been nothing short of excellent for well over a year now. I do not buy strings anywhere else and I could not be happier.

Sorry for your loss Jason I had no idea. Just wanted to tell you thanks for getting my strings out to me so fast. They got here today. Now they will be ready for my new bass when it arrives. Looking forward to seeing how the .50-.105 Chromes feel and play. Wanted something a little beefier for a jazz bass.

First order this week! It just doesn't get any easier, great web site and service.

I live in the sticks, there's not a store within 70 miles with any selection of bass strings, this is awesome!

I'll be a regular customer from here on out.

The string length article was super helpful with my long scale Dingwall bass string options.

Thanks guys!

I got to say...I was just a massive PITA for Jason with an "issue" I just had.

There is NOBODY that does it better. There is NOBODY that will try harder than Jason.

If he can keep me calm and happy, I guarantee you he will keep you happy.

Thanks Jason.

Jason does a great job. Orders ship fast and he is helpful with information. With the cost of bass strings, experimenting is not always an option. He has some good information to share.

Obviously everyone got the email that the Daddario lineup of singles is live on the site. Curious to see if that will include short scale Chromes soon... Otherwise I'm gonna build a balanced nickel short scale set.

Yes it does!

Best to purchase a set using a combination of long scale for the G D and A string and use the short scale E.

. 110 chrome for long scale! Siiiiiick

I apologize! I totally did not realize that Short Scales were not on the list! I am going to bring this up with them tomorrow... I mean, they have short scale tapewounds and short scale everything else... why not chromes... at least the E string, really don't need the others short...

Gotta hand it to Jason. I ordered a TI single yesterday and got an email back saying it was out of stock. Jason told me he wouldn't be getting more till Monday at the earliest, but to my surprise I just checked my mail and the order has shipped today. Thanks, Jason!
