 my plan A seems to of fallen though.
I'm changing my strings for the first time and could use some guidance. I want a big deep growling sound and from my research it looks like you can get that with thick gauge and brass strings. My nut can only handle a .45 and I've only been able to find brass strings in .50 and greater. Does anyone know of any smaller brass strings?
Also I've been thinking of trying flat wound or semi-flat wounds, since I have the stock strings that are rounds.
Whatever I get will be a x-mas present so price really isn't an issue but the longer they'll last the better. |
