My second day with TI Jazz flats

I'd like to give a special thank you to everyone who's been pimping these strings. I decided to give them a try and am blown away. I love the vintage tone ( I'm using a 80's Fender Jazz ) and the way they play is incredible.

I've had hand cramping issues in the past and these are like butter. Maybe not for everyone but definitely this guy.

It's said they get better with age so if they start out this good I can't wait.

My Lakland is a bit sad but I'll get back to it.

Just got mine in the mail today and put them on my SR5 replacing the EB flats that I had previously. A much better tone, less tension and great feel.

I too am now a big fan.

They do get better!

After a week or two, that sticky rosin, or whatever in the heck it is, will wear off, and you'll notice a bit of an increase in output (I wonder if the sticky stuff impedes the magnetism?).

They also seem to stiffin up a little. I'd really like to take a 6 month old string and a new one, load it up on a tensile tester to the strings listed tension, and measure force required to move the string laterally at a specific point and distance. I just don't have access to a tester anymore.

Anyway, enjoy them, 'cuz they really are special.

I just put a set of the TI SuperAlloys on my G&L 2000, and after a couple of rehearsals, I'm about as equally impressed with these roundwounds. They also feel "soft" and articulate. Very mid voiced, and don't have as much "zing" on the high end like other rounds.

They do indeed rock, I just put a broken in set on my new fretless and they sing!
Of course I had to take 'em off one of my other basses(a fretted) so I slapped a new set of TI Jazz Rounds, and they are the smoothest, sexiest and most toneful round I have ever tried, I usually like rounds eevn more when they're broken in or "dead" so I cant wait to hear these when they're older too.
