My strings from my Ibanez SRG 200 broke after 4 months

Well my E string did, makes me sad

Any suggestions for replacements? nothing to fancy

Bands i play:

Muse
Iron Maiden
Basic rock and metal.

Daddario Nickel XL's or Fender Nickels. Both are great and inexpensive. Also, check your bridge for a burr or sharp point. The E string breaking first means to me that some other force is at play.

Hopefully they are friends in e string heaven. :/


And other poster, thanks a lot for the suggestion, but looking at it there was no other damage than the string...so i dunno :/
