Got a brand new RW P-Bass from MF last week. I absolutely love it. It creates the tone I've been looking for all my life!
Anyway, I wanted to get some extra strings, but I'm a little confused. The specs on both MF and Fender's site state that the RW comes with Fender 7250ML strings. But everywhere I've read, these strings have black silk ends. Mine, do not, as seen here:
Has anyone run into this kind of thing before? It's kind of odd. I'd try contacting Fender directly, but I've heard tell their customer service leaves a bit to be desired.
Opinions?
UPDATE: I called Fender directly, and they told me that they have changed the design of their strings. 7250's now come with silver ends. Just sayin' what the guy at Fender said....
