Need advice on new strings

So I always use ernie ball regular slinkys, which is pretty much your standard round wound. But I'm looking for something not so twangy and buzzy, something smoother and better on the fingers, deep and smooth, but still with the ability for an alright slap tone.

I'd generally suggest experimenting with nickel strings, but I have some recent experience with Cleartones, and I can't recommend them highly enough. They're very durable, smooth on the fingers, and are the brightest sounding nickel-wound strings I've ever played.
