Need Advice For Strings!

Hey Guys!

Slipknotz here! Haven't talked to y'all in a while! Well any way I'm getting my crappy Squier restrung because the strings are rusting. Well I want to get the knut cut, and get the bass to ahve a standard tuning of C, G, C, F. Any Suggestions on what types of strings to buy? And if so please tell me where I can buy them. My local guitar shop only has Ernie Ball strings.

*On a side note: I'm upgrading!

Can you give us a little more informations as to what sound you are trying to achieve or music you play?

I also have a squire p bass, After a self induced setup (Fender Specs), I put on a set of DR Stainless Hi-beams. great tone, sounds better than most Fender P basses

A standard set of Hi Beams wouldnt work too great for CGCF...

Well i'm trying to acheive a smooth low sound. I can detune a standard tuned bass but the sound becomes floppy. play metal and the tuning is for grunge/speed metal songs.
