i've been using DR low-riders and as much as i love them, i would like to have a set of strings that are less bright and have
more of a growl to them if that makes sense. any ideas? |

And if you still need less twang than that, the end of the line is Pyramid Gold flats. They are the least twangy and most zing-free strings I have tried. And right out of the package, too, no break-in required.

| | | | If you want to stick with roundwounds, try GHS Bass Boomers. They are nickel plated strings with a medium-smooth feel and a pretty tamed top-end. |

| | | | i might try the low-rider nickel, but im not quite sure yet. |
