Need new strings for American Deluxe Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
Well every bass I been playin for the past year (57' p-bass, fretless jazz, p bass specials) I been using flatwounds.

I have an American Deluxe Jazz V coming in this weekend. Having owned one of these couple years ago (2002) I dont know how a set of flatwounds will sound. I will be stringing it E-C. Lot of my favorite flats dont come with a high C or sell a 6 string set (Labellas)

Anyone here have experience using flats on the deluxe models?

I might just put in a sadowsky pre in.
