Need some help finding a suitable 6-string set

Sign in to disble this ad
Alright, I've tried a bunch of recommended sites like juststrings.com, musiciansfriend.com, etc. and I still can't seem to find a pack of strings (or combination of regular strings + single string(s)) that suites my needs:

6-string flatwounds, light/extra-light guage, with the ability to tune to EADGCF.

I'd even be willing to shell out the extra cash for a 7-string set (or even an 8-string set, if that would work) so long as I can grab 6-strings out of the pack and tune them to EADGCF.

So with that in mind, does anyone know of a website that sells the kind of strings I'm searching for?

I'm not sure, but did you try the SIT website?

Yeah I looked them up but didn't find anything that met my specifications or see any way to order custom string sets.

Flats don't exist in the realm of 7 strings unless you get some custom wound or find an uber-long guitar string for your F. I've never even seen a roundwound set for tuning E-F. I used a set for octaved 8-string for that tuning.
