I have a feeling that these will be pretty polarizing, you're either going to love'em or hate'em, but DR just announced this morning that they're releasing a new line of coated strings in Neon. Supposedly the coating is going to be more durable than the Extended Life ones and this kinda explains why they recently pulled some of their colors out of the EL line. http://www.drstrings.com/
Personally this makes me pretty happy. I do hope they can add a few more colors to the line, but I really do like the colors, especially the yellow.

I have been a Hi-Beam user for a long time now and as long as these are up to the same quality standards I may be converting on at least one of my basses. Not sure how they will look on a natural finish but on my black Modulus, I think, these will look (and hopefully sound) sweet.

Unfortunately, "Electric Boogaloo" is not really my band's vibe. |

Cool look is just a bonus, though I dislike the added finger noise on the strings, but that's not a deal breaker. Are these the same? Pretty wild colors.
