New found TI praise?

I just picked up a Fullerton 84 62 RI Jazz. I have spent the past few days trying different strings on this bass, and it sounds great with nickel rounds. However, I already have a 05 62 RI Jazz set up with rounds, a 96 Jazz set up with rounds, and 76 Jazz set up with rounds. Therefore, I decided to try a set of flats on this Fullerton. I happened to have a set of TI (two actually) in my string box, and put those on. I have never liked TIs, and I've tried them on Fenders and MMs. Too me they sounded twangy, and they were just too darn thin. But I have to say, on this bass, they sound very deep and full, but also very clear. They just sound great! It usually takes me a while to find the right set of strings for a particular bass, but I got lucky this time. The TIs are staying on this bass as long as I own it.
