Newburgh, NY – As the innovators of the Black Nylon Tape Wound bass set, La Bella introduces the 760T White Nylon Tape Wound set. Unlike the classic 760N set, the 760T White Nylon Tape Wound set is made with a transparent nylon wrapped over stainless steel underlays. The result is a brighter sound and even smoother finish, allowing players to effortlessly glide from note to note. The 760T set is extremely versatile and can be used for electric, fretless and acoustic basses.

Additionally, La Bella is proud to expand its extremely popular Nylon Tape Wound bass series to include a Light gauge offering: .050 .065 .085 .105. Both the Black Nylon Tape Wound and White Nylon Tape Wound will be available in the new light gauge:

Additionally, all Light Black & White Nylon Tape Wound bass sets are available in 5-String (.050 .065 .085 .105 .135) & 6-String (.043 .050 .065 .085 .105 .135) models.

It's about time they made a tapewound set in gauges that make sense.

Ahhh I see now. The incognito tape wound. Very cool.

It is tough to make a .105 E string. It is only recently through different materials and core to wrap ratio's that string makers are able to make an inner string that is able to support an E without being overly floppy.

Looks like Innovation Silver Slap upright bass strings.

Well, shucks. Now I need to decide if I want these White Tapes or my standard D'Addario Tapewounds for my Ibanez AEB5E acoustic.. Hmm.
