These new white/clear LaBellas are going to be brighter then a traditional black tapewound?

I know its hard to say at the moment I am sure you will let us know as soon as you get some of these in. I am already thinking of how I am going to use these 'incognito' strings. Hope they are mor traditional sounding.

Any news on these strings? I really like black nylons but I confess my vanity by saying that black strings don't look good on every bass.

La Bella strings are all made to order. They do not keep inventory on the shelf. So they are available to order now so I am working on stocking them as I am sure other dealers are too.

I am just stoked to be able to get tape-wound LaBellas and not have to have ridiculous big ole strings. Will be ordering a light set for sure.

I'm ordering an apparently light set right now. 050 .065 .085 .105. Yay for me and yay for bassstringsonline. How do you think the longevity of these is gonna be? and do you know what color the silks are?

I may have to give them a try. I used LaBella Tape wounds from 1968 to 1981. they were the lowest cost and most easily obtainable tapes for me.

The labella tapes that came on my Carvin AC40F are the smoothest, silkiest strings I've ever felt. If these are supposed to be smoother......oh boy.

Strike that... I will be seeing La Bella at NAMM today... Hopefully they will have some of these new tapes there.

Orange Silk (Same color as what is on 760FX Deep Talkin Flats and Super Alloy 52's...

Looking at the picture I took the white balance is very off so I am going to have to take another one to post.

They feel silky silky smooth to the touch. Different from the Black Nylon Tapewounds for sure. Looking forward to playing them now!

Oh man, waiting for these is gonna be a pain. The orange silks should go nicely with my Carvins koa though.

Oh man! Of course these come out about two weeks after I got the heavy gauge 760N's from you... After widening my nut saddles.... BAAHHH...

Anyways, I'm very much looking forward to these, I like that they'll be brighter sounding. Not sure though which gauge I'll get... I want the brightest ones possible.

mmm, tape wound user here for years. I like the black look on most of mine, but, yes, the "white" will look great on some. Hopefully they'll sound great too.
Labella tapes are my fave modern tapes, only old {10 yrs & more} Fender tapes are sweeter imo.
