I've put new strings on and LOVING the sound as usual haha.

But i know that they're going to get old and sound not as great.

Any ways to preserve the nice sound i get from them e.g. putting my bass in a case ?

Wipe it after each use with a dry soft cloth, that's the best way to keep it clean without grease.
