New Steve Harris Flats From ROTO

Anyone know who's carrying these yet? I know they were just released - but the "smoother and faster" part caught my eye - how can flats be anymore smoother than they already are.

well pyramid flats for sure are smoother than others because of the nickel i think.
i dont know about rotos though

I was actually just thinking about how my light gauge Chromes feel almost too "rubbery" for Maiden, and since I've read all over the webs about how Steve Harris uses fairly heavy strings anyway, I should maybe man up and go with a stiffer set.

According to no treble they were just released on 12/4. Called updated Steve Harris rounds.

In order for Roto to call them "smoother", they only need to be smoother than Roto's existing flats (the monel jazz ones), which aren't exactly smooth.

Yes turns out we have them in stock!

Rotosound was kind enough to delay the public announcement to give dealers time to move their current stock. (but that would depend on each dealers buying habits etc)...

The packaging is exactly the same but the contents are different!

The silks are no longer purple, the silks are Red by the Ball Ends and Aqua Blue by the tuning posts!

I had no idea these actually changed! COOL!!!

So Harris is now using rounds? I guess 21 December is the end after all!

This was put up November 28th. From what I hear they shipped me my first sets of the new version more than 2 months ago!
