Howdy, I need to buy new strings really badly, I still have the stock strings that came on my epi thunderbird on, and there starting to stretch and not hold a tuning. I play in Drop D down a step (FCGC) usually, and the .105 string is far too floppy. I was looking at some D'Addario ProSteels in .55-.110. would a .110 be less floppy then a .105, or should i go up to a .130?
What are the advantages of steel stings? I'm really new to buying new strings and all.
