New strings don't fit bridge

I just got new set of Fender 9050ML flats. Never tried flats before so I'm pretty excited. Anway, I was in the process of installing them when I went to slide the low E into the bridge whole. The string itself fits but the green string wrapper at the end of the string doesn't fit. I tried lubing it up a bit with 3-in-1 oil but that didn't work. Anyone have any suggestions. I don't really want to drill the whole bigger but if I have to I can.

Your going to have to bore it out. I had to do these with my P/J and steve harris flats. It's fairly simple, but make sure there isn't any sharp edges, or you will have a bunch of broke strings
