New strings on a fender jazz

I have a fender standard jazz bass, i never got a round to changing the strings from the stock ones. i play blues/jazz, funk and rock

suggestions?

I think ernie ball strings are fine. Some people bash them, but hey, they're only 20 bucks.

Personally I'd try DR Sunbeams. They're versatile enough to cover all the types of music you're doing.

Over here from the dark side of the board.

I don't play my slab bass much but I have to agree with the last post.

I changed to DR Sunbeams on all my electric basses (including my Jazz) and am very happy with the sound and the feel.
