Question New strings for a T-Bird

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, whats up?

I have an Epi T-Bird and I've had the stock strings on for almost a year now, so I was thinking about some new strings. I have got no clue what kind of strings are on it now, I believe that they are steels, but I'm not sure. I like the sound of Roger Waters, Paul McCartney and the bass player for Bob Marley and the Wailers. What kind of strings do you think would suit this type of sound, or what kind of strings do you think would suit the bass in general.

Any kind of help would be great guys!

Talk to you guys later,

Greg

Epiphone makes their own strings, and they are damn good too.

I use DR Highbeams 40-100 on my Gibson Thunderbird, but I don't have a sound like ther bassisnts aforementioned...
