New SX fretless; but need cheap flats

Sign in to disble this ad
Just ordered a SX short scale fretless jazz off eBay for $95 after discounts; looks nice for the price, but I probably need flatwounds so I don't run the risk of destroying the fretboard. Any suggestions for cheap (possibly under $20) short scale flats?

These are the best cheap flats I've found. But they don't have short scale.

Go to www.bpstrings.com and click on the bass guittar section. He sells short scale GHS Precision Flats for $19.95. GHS sells just about every string type they make in a short scale version, with some in different gauges.
