Which nickel 110s for heavy rock?

I'm not usually into the whole getting people to vote as to what I should buy, but these are 20 quid sets of strings instead of 2000 pound basses. Anyway I've done a little reading and narrowed it down to 3 sets of strings I reckon seem right. Have a poll cos 20 quids still alot of money since I'm skint. Don't wanna get all 3 and try them either cos It'd take far too long so I'm gonna let you guys make a choice for me.

I play pretty hard with an .88 nylon Jim Dunlop pick on an ATK with really high action to avoid too much noise (that and I like the Double Bass like feel) and these 3 seem the most suited.

Elites - cos from what I've read they sound like they're very lively and new string sounding without being too bright

Rotosound Roto Bass - cos everyone seems to revere Rotosound roundwounds as being really good rock strings in general

D'Aquisto Rock Bottoms - Because I'm intrigued by them being named as such plus the packet screams old school full but defined Fenderish rock kinda sound.

Perhaps take a look at DR Sunbeams or Nickel Lo-Riders.

What's wrong with the Rock Bottoms? They at least look like traditional Nickel style strings to me. The Rotos are Steel but are wound with nickel.

Don't like Ernies on my ATK, they combine to make a very strange sound, use 110s by em on my Fender Bullet though and they're ace.

Don't the TI PowerBass' go up to .107?

I've never used them, but my understanding is they are not overly bright, and have a high magnetic content/output (due to the nickel?).

Yeah I don't think anything tapereds gonna last too long on my bass unfortunately. Never heard of TI powerbass though, they sound kinda interesting.

On DRs website they don't seem to mention any 110s that was all I was basing it on. I live in the UK and alot of stuff is hard to get hold of unfortunately.

I've been using the rotosound 'roto' bass nikel plated 110's for the last few years. They're only about £9 a set on www.stringbusters.com and sound great. They also stay bright for ages and I play a lot.
