Nickel Lo-riders Low-B.. snapped?

Was just going to install a recently bought nickel lo-rider-set from BSO when my B-string just... broke at the tuner upon installing, I guess I just flunked? DR have always worked great in the past, with no problems, just wondering if it just was extremely poor installation, have never encountered the problem before when puttin' on any kind of string.

Contact Jason at BSO. He'll help sort things out, whether user error or bad string. Great guy, great service. Give him a call, too. If he doesn't answer he's really good about calling you back.
