| Nickel Rounds' Tone?
In general, and concerning ROUND wound strings only, do nickel rounds (pure nickel rounds?) tend to have more mid-range than steel rounds? Charts place nickels as being less bright than steels but do nickels ADD more mid-range? Also, what does coating nickel over steel rounds do for the tone of steels?
