I don't know if they'll fit your jack cassidy bass, but they'll work fine on an Epiphone Jack Casady.

No, you can not. If you do, it will cause a distortion in the linear framus quotient that adversely impacts the tension on the truss matrix. The result will be a proliferation of fetzer sideband harmonics in the neck dive that my cause permanent hearing loss in people over 5'10".
